Not sure exactly when we started this tradition but I think it was back in the 80's because I'm pretty sure I remember playing a Thanksgiving pool while I was still in the Navy. We played a family pool every Thanksgiving since then. I believe my brother Bill was the originator of the idea.

I decided to go back as far as I could with the pool and provide some history of the outcome. I could only dig up pools back to 2001. This is because we originally drew them out on a piece of paper. It was 2001 that we started using a computer, thus we have a record back to 2001. Below are all the pools back to 2001 with the final winners. I went on the Internet and was able to find all the games with scoring by quarter so I was able to indicate the winners for each year. I also complied some quick statistics on the pools over the years.
